What is the Industry Access Program?
The Industry Access Program (IAP) is an initiative from Bridges For Music that aims to empower graduates and provide an ecosystem for Bridges Academy alumni to gain access to the entertainment industry and develop their professional skills.
The program differs significantly from academy based programs such the Talent Development Program, which aims to provide intense support for young creatives.
The IAP seeks to empower graduates by providing access to supportive networks, entry-level employment and work experience opportunities and access to the professional entertainment industry through partnerships. The IAP also seeks to provide education and training resources to build graduate capacity. Given that the entertainment industry is highly competitive, the IAP has a strong focus on self-capacitation and ownership and collaboration.
What's new in 2025?
Since the inception of the IAP in 2023, we are constantly trying to learn and enhance how the program works. IAP 2025 is all about creating systems and structures that will enable us to measure the effectiveness of initiatives, simplify the various components of the IAP and ultimately put us in position to supercharge future growth.

This IAP Portal is a central information hub, that you should visit once a week.
There are 4 key ways benefit and contribute towards with the IAP Program
The IAP Whatsapp Community is our core communication & engagement platform that you should visit daily.
We also have 1-on-1 Sessions that you can book for career consultations, music career advice and counselling.
In-Person Events, such as workshops or Family Fridays are for connecting and building community. We recommend that you attend at least one event every 2 months.
Building Better Together
BFM is launching a professional music services arm, including a booking agency & music services consultancy.
This will serve as an upstream pathway for top-performing IAP alumni, offering competitive fees however with minimal support, aligning with industry standards.

3 IAP Streams
You can now choose from up to 3 IAP streams. Music, Career and Education.
Each stream will provide more detailed focus and tools for your growth in that specific area.
This will provide a tool that we can use to measure your progress in a given area.
We will be adding new features that will make your growth journey more fun and engaging, while also rewarding you with XP for important actions you take.
XP will ultimately be transferable for rewards at a later stage.
