Milestone Studios is Cape Town’s premier recording studio complex, and one of South Africa’s most respected spaces for world-class music production. Since 1987, they’ve worked with major global clients like Disney, Sony, Universal, Netflix, Nickelodeon, and Warner Bros, while also recording top local artists, orchestras, and film soundtracks.
Their cutting-edge facilities include a Dolby-enabled 7.1.4 Atmos mixing studio, hundreds of microphones, and professional-grade gear such as a Raindirk Symphony console, Yamaha grand piano, and Fender amplifiers. This makes it one of the most advanced live recording environments in the country.

💰 Type: Paid internship (hourly rate)
⏰ Schedule: Flexible (based on artist bookings and studio sessions)

🎶 Who They’re Looking For
This is an entry-level internship, so you don’t need to be an expert in sound engineering or live sound. What matters most is your passion, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
They’re looking for someone who:
Is a Bridges for Music Alumni (graduate)
Has shown some early interest or involvement in music, recording, or sound
Is eager to learn and adaptable to changing studio times
Is reliable and professional
Preferably speaks isiXhosa (not essential)
Preferably a woman or gender-diverse candidate to increase representation (not essential)

How to record live instruments and acoustic performances
Studio setup, microphone techniques, and session preparation
